Project for the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of two parallel ± 533 kV HVDC transmission lines named “Songo-Apollo” for a total length of 1800 Km.
This Contract, considered one of the biggest projects in the world, besides the usual construction activities, included also those of deforestation and de-mining of the land for a good part of the lines.
All activities have been supervised by Trans-Africa Projects (Pty) Ltd, South Africa.
